About Jewish Frosh

Jewish Frosh has been one of McGill's alternative froshes for many years! This year Ghetto Shul reached out to Am McGill to help coordinate the event! We've been planning some great events for (probably) your first Shabbat in Montreal!

Jewish Frosh and Faculty Frosh:

Because we want Jewish Frosh and McGill Frosh week to be the best experience for you, feel free to sign up for your faculty Frosh AND Jewish Frosh! Just indicate on the registration form which events you will be likely attending.

How much does Jewish Frosh cost?

30 dollars! Whether you choose to come to one event or all four it costs the same.

About our service:

We will be holding a non-denominational Shabbat service that may include things like musical instruments and nontraditional prayers and tunes. All the food served will be Kosher or Kosher-style. Please ask if you have any questions!

If you are looking for a traditional or Orthodox service for Friday evening, check out Chabad at McGill on Facebook or at www.ChabadMcGill.com.

Who is running Jewish Frosh this year?

Sarah, Arielle, and Maya have been planning all summer! We're so excited to meet you all!

Am McGill is McGill's newest Jewish group on campus! They hold Shabbat services and holiday events that can be described as inclusive, non-denominational, and unique! Arielle and Sarah are the coordinators from Am!

Ghetto Shul is a tight-knit, welcoming community of McGill and Montréal area Jewish young adults. Ghetto Shul offers a traditional Friday night service and dinner almost every week in addition to other holiday and Havdallah events. Maya is the coordinator from Ghetto Shul!
